Location: Victoria, British Columbia
It’s always nice to work with clients when they fully put their trust in the photographer. The only request Freeman & Mandy had were to shoot their pre-wedding/engagement photos out in the picturesque Victoria, British Columbia.
Whenever you work in a remote or a unfamiliar locations, it’s imperative to be organized and be prepared for locations in advance. Last thing a photographer would want to do is to drive aimlessly with their clients scouting for locations. And for this particular shoot, Ellie & I had to book a weekend off just so we can location scout for Freeman & Mandy’s shoot. Not all photo shoot will allow us to actually be at our “final destination” to scout for locations, and in that case, Google Street View & Google Earth will come in very handy. In fact, location scouting is a vital process in the pre-production stage of filmmaking & commercial photography, and more then ever, Google Earth & Google Street view are indispensable tools for today’s location scouts.

You guys were always open to our random and out-of-the-blue ideas, and I really believed the pictures that we see here are not a photographer’s interpertation of a beautiful couple, but rather a genuine capture of Freeman & Mandy.
