I remembered asking Cory & Diana: “How would you describe your relationship? At a coffee shop, Cory and Diana turned their eyes to each other and smiled. Diana responded: “we fight.. “, she smiled “a love/hate relationship.” Instead of a relationship involves rainbow, smelling roses and riding unicorn, I absolutely loved the candid and genuine answer. Real people, like you and me.
Driving home I couldn’t stop thinking about this beautiful couple, as much as it was our first time meeting each other, I couldn’t help but started to brainstorm the ideas for an engagement session for Cory & Diana that symbolizes their relationship.
Lo and behold, I will be shooting their wedding in August!
My excitement in presenting this pillow fight engagement idea was like a kid that was so proud of his drawing and couldn’t wait to show his mom — I was that kid. Yes, a shoot like this required lots of prep work, but I am so glad that we were able to tailor something genuinely just for Cory & Diana.
