ENGAGEMENT – Brandon & Stephanie – Vancouver, Canada

Meet our friends Brandon & Stephanie; recently engaged visiting Vancouver from Singapore, so we thought there are no better way to celebrate their engagement but to document this season right here in Canada.

In Singapore, with an average temperature of 27°C, why not make a little extra effort and shoot this in true Canadian winter fashion.

In Vancouver, the snows usually behaves and stays up at the mountain. So for this shoot we packed our hiking gears, drove up to the mountain and hiked our way until we found the perfect winter backdrop.

We don’t just want this to be any ordinary engagement shoot in the snow, because that wouldn’t be cool (pardon my pun!) So the four of us spent some time to figured out the perfect wardrobe for this shoot. What’s the perfect Canadian wardrobe? Brandon & Stephanie were decked out in Roots from top to bottom as if we were shooting the Roots winter catalogue.

How much more Canadian can we get? We even got a husky in for a few shots!

Okay, so maybe we were missing some Tim Hortons double-doubles, a pair of hockey sticks and a toque. But they are really polite, so that’s Canadian too, eh?
