We are often labelled as “wedding photographer,” but I feel that’s probably just just a small portion of what we actually do on a daily basis. On the day of the wedding, most certainly I am the wedding photographer. But our job goes much farther than that, as we are not in the photography business, we are in the business of people. Many become friends, if not life long friends.
Introducing you to Carrie & Frankie, our paths crossed many moons ago, when I used to share the music that I wrote and taught Carrie how to play it on the piano. We played and served on the same band, rocked out so hard that we probably damaged our eardrums somewhere along the way. But whenever there’s a sliver of silence, inevitably you will find Carrie playing to Canon in D.
We entertained on the idea of Carrie to play Canon in D at the ceremony, but it would be awkward if Frankie is standing by the altar by himself. We wrote that idea off rather quickly. However I had the utmost privileged with the rest of the band to lead the worship during the ceremony. Not every weekend I get rock out as the wedding photographer and the wedding singer. Perhaps I should include that in my wedding packages.
And here, I present you Carrie & Frankie’s Canon in D.
