You know the feeling when you meet someone for the very first time and things just starts clicking and you immediately start to have the best conversations? That was exactly the case when Ellie & I first met Tom & Betsy, the most down-to-earth and ever-so-wonderful couple. We walked away sharing life stories and journeys, trials and tribulation. Best of all, we cherished the authentic connection, and hearing their faith and walk in God was so so good.
I still remember as we left their home and down the elevator, I looked over to Ellie and told her that even if we don’t get to photograph their wedding, I am just honored that we’ve met this amazing couples, for they deposited words of faith and courage into our lives. Truly a blessing.
Oops.. Let’s get back to their engagement session. Chapter 1: Meet Toby — The newest addition to Tom & Betsy’s family. We decided to break it down into two separate engagement session which lead up to their wedding in 2015. As you know, a puppy will only stay as puppy for so long (I know.. it’s the truth, one day they will grow up..), so we really want to document this journey. So for now, you get to see Toby as a puppy, and later in the winter we will photograph the second session which will be revealed in chapter 2.
