Meet Yinger

I am a Vancouver-based fine art wedding, portrait & lifestyle photographer, a film connoisseur, a dreamer and I’m passionate to capture people, and life. Married to the love of my life, Ellie, in 2011. She’s the studio manager, the doer and the second photographer. And we are also the proud parent of Ayden, and our goldendoodle, Rossi (check out his own page!).

I made my first pinhole camera in grade 9 with a Nestle Quik tin, and I was one of the nerd that spent countless lunch breaks in the dark room developing prints. I flipped burgers when I was 15, handcrafted lattes, fashion shoots in manholes, shots hundreds if not thousands of actors, and even busked (street-performed) on Granville Island with my guitar & keyboard during my early stage of photography career; it was sure feast or famine. All had led me to my conviction and to live this amazing life God has blessed me with as a photographer. We are truly blessed and humbled each time when we get to collaborate with our clients.

What’s important to us and what you need to know:

It’s as simple as ABC, our foundation is literally spelled out in ABC, and it is what we stand for. Everything from our initial connection to your photography, this is what we will always fall back on and to remind us of who we are and why we are.

A: Art – we value fine arts. We are mindful about the longterm value in creating timeless artwork. We focus our effort and tell your story in the form of albums, canvas, and prints.

B: Bona fide – Honest, sincere, and true. It’s about authenticity. We are intensely passionate and emotionally invested on capturing fleeting organic moments that are honest and raw, natural and uninterrupted, soulful and vulnerable.

C: Classic – we believe classic trumps trends. Recognizing your photography need to be timeless and will be passed down for generations. Our albums, canvas and prints are of highest quality, and they are carefully selected and handcrafted to ensure it will stand the test of time.

We are privileged and humbled that we get to do what we love to do.
