2016 has already been such a special year for photography. From photographed one of the most intimate wedding of my career to started an ongoing fine art portrait series. And it just keeps getting better, when I received a wedding inquiry from Prudence, I had to do a double take. I grew up in a small Lutheran church, led music and worship for a number of years, and for many of those years, we played alongside each other. That’s why when we received this wedding inquiry, I was fell-off-the-chair-overjoyed.
Anyone would tell you is all about location location location when it comes to an engagement session, but equally I believe the story, sentimental and significance that makes up the couple are just as important, if not more. As I got to hear P&M’s stories and getting to know them as a couple, later I discovered their passion for cooking; so we carefully selected a location with an open kitchen that basked with natural light yet with plenty of characters. Shooting in a back alley or catching the sunset would of been pretty, but we believe this will best represent who they are.
Let the cook off begin!
