In the last year, we felt like we took a crash course on parenting. From expecting our first child, finding out our baby boy with cleft lip at our first ultrasound, more ultrasound, and more ultrasounds. And today, we took Ayden in for his cleft lip surgery.
Neither my wife nor myself have ever been under the knife, and our 12 weeks young precious is undergoing his first surgery. It’s rather a strange feeling. Sending your child in and he’s going to come out looking different. It’s hard to wrap our head around that.
We’ve been showered with prayers, supports and encouragements in the last year, and we can’t thank you enough, and we are grateful to have you in our life.
Strange enough, we are going to miss his little cleft : )
So I thought I’d grab my camera before putting Ayden to bed, and snap a few more pictures of our family.
Love these so many Yinger. Thinking of you and Ellie today. Thoughts and prayers are with you guys!
Hugs,
Teen
