BIRTHDAY – Ayden Smashcake

It’s hard to believe that our little miracle Ayden turned one! No books could ever prepare anyone on what to expect when you become a parent, not even New York Times bestseller What to Expect When You’re Expecting could prepare us for this beautiful journey.

For Ayden’s first birthday, Ellie thought it’d be good idea to get him a smashcake. A rather unorthodox way to celebrate birthday according to our parents, but I can’t agree more with Ellie! Let’s deliberately make a mess! 🙂

At his young age, we already discovered this little guy’s got rhythm! So thanks to our friend Kelly, cake designer & baker who designed this smashcake specifically for Ayden, tailor-made for our little man.
